Job Description

Omnicell Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking professional to join the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) team as an ESG Data Analyst. In this role, you will play a key part in advancing Omnicell’s ESG Program and initiatives by bolstering ESG data collection and analysis efforts, leveraging data-driven insights to inspire ESG performance improvements, and leading data preparation for internal and external ESG reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, carbon accounting, corporate sustainability, and ESG reporting frameworks. As an integral member of our collaborative ESG Team, you will report directly to the Manager, ESG Program.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain dashboard to track ESG-related KPIs, conducting trend analysis and monitoring company-wide ESG performance over time.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with ESG data owners to inform dashboards and measurement tools, ensuring a single source of truth for ESG data.
  • Collect ESG data and supporting documentation for internal and external reporting, including stakeholder inquiries and questionnaires, like the CDP Survey.
  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis of the ESG Program, capturing key metrics to assess overall performance and harnessing insights to propose recommendations for continuous improvements.
  • Lead the measurement of Omnicell’s Scope 3 GHG emissions and support and validate Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions calculations.
  • Monitor external ESG framework requirements, such as those of GRI, SASB, and TCFD, and conduct gap analyses to propose recommendations to improve data reporting.
  • Support assurance readiness and data assurance processes.
  • Measure and track the return on investment (ROI) of ESG projects and initiatives.
  • Analyze external scores of our ESG performance from raters and rankers, such as MSCI, Sustainalytics, ISS, and Glass Lewis.
  • Contribute to the development, preparation, and publication of Omnicell’s annual ESG Report and propose opportunities to enhance the inclusion of data in the ESG Report.
  • Assist in the target and goal-setting process, measure progress against public goals and targets, and lead the setting of any Science Based Targets.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of processes and procedures around data collection and management and recommend improvements for data collection and management processes.
  • Oversee the management of Omnicell’s ESG reporting platform, making necessary adjustments to align with evolving reporting requirements and needs.
  • Evaluate industry peers, best practices, and frameworks to identify potential gaps in data disclosures, devising strategic plans to address and mitigate them.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience with analyzing and reporting ESG-related data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
  • Experience in carbon accounting, including Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 GHG emissions, and a strong understanding of reporting protocols, like the GHG Protocol and Scope 3 Protocol.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining data dashboards and measurement tools.
  • Deep working knowledge of ESG reporting standards and frameworks, such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, and strong understanding of common ESG and sustainability metrics, data collection methods, and tools.
  • Ability to develop and maintain detailed documentation of data collection and management processes.
  • Proficiency in recommending and implementing improvements for data collection and management processes.
  • Strong analytical skills to conduct comprehensive analysis of ESG Program.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with ESG data owners.
  • Proficiency in preparing responses for stakeholder information inquiries and questionnaires.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience performing qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations, communicating technical subject matter to a non-technical audience of all levels.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and planning skills; capacity to simultaneously handle a variety of complex matters under deadline pressure.
  • Team-oriented, willing to learn other areas of the business to further collaboration and drive results cross-functionally.
  • Self-starter with an ability to self-motivate and work independently.
  • Experience with target and goal setting, including background understanding of the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and setting science-based targets.
  • Experience overseeing ESG reporting platforms and making necessary adjustments.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, information systems, computer science, environmental science, sustainability, or related technical field
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree
  • Experience in serving healthcare or technology industry
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant professional experience

Work Conditions

  • This position offers the flexibility of remote or hybrid work, depending on location
  • Minimal travel required
