As our Sustainability/ESG Reporting Manager, you will play a key role in establishing T-Mobile as a leader in responsible business practices. This role requires proven experience developing and drafting content aligned to ESG reporting standards and frameworks and the technical understanding to communicate complex topics and metrics. This position will have responsibilities related to the compilation, assessment, measurement, reporting, and disclosure of ESG information. You understand and are able to communicate T-Mobile’s performance around the issues that matter most to our partners; you have strong interpersonal skills and work easily and collaboratively across different departments; and finally, you thrive in an entrepreneurial, driven environment and are not afraid to push the boundaries of what’s possible to change the world for GOOD.
This is a hybrid role (3 days/week in the office) and can be based in Bellevue, WA or Overland Park, KS
Responsibilities:
- Drive the internal collection of accurate ESG-related data including data validation and assurance processes within critical timelines.
- Manage the ESG reporting system and metrics database and ongoing development of the internal ESG performance dashboard for quarterly and annual tracking.
- Project manage the development and production of T-Mobile’s annual CR report, coordinating with content providers across all business units and external resources and managing various streams of work that support the CR Report development.
- Assist in developing ESG disclosures for annual proxy statement, financial reports, and other regulatory disclosures.
- Collaborate with internal partners to develop strategy to prepare and meet regulatory ESG reporting requirements.
- Monitor ESG disclosure standards (e.g., SASB, TCFD, UN SDGs) to ensure alignment; track emerging ESG regulations and trends; and develop strategies to address them across the business.
- Develop T-Mobile’s response to key ESG ratings, rankings, surveys, and RFP requests.
- Support the preparation of management and Board presentations on ESG governance.
- Facilitate agenda development and supporting materials for regular ESG Working Group and ESG Team meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Advanced degree or professional designation preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in the ESG field; minimum of 3 years playing an integral role in the publication and project management of ESG reports for a large corporation. Report samples will be required.
- Strong knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks and methodologies including GRI, SASB, TCFD, and UN SDGs.
- Strong project management and written skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet quick deadlines.
- Ability to build strong relationships and develop deep content knowledge quickly. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels and functions.
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Washington Pay Range : $94,500.00 - $127,800.00
