The first webinar in our Decoding Regulations series will explore how business can practically and pragmatically prepare for due diligence requirements in line with the spirit and letter of the CSDDD. Since its initial draft in 2022, BSR has closely worked with its members to understand and implement these new mandatory due diligence requirements, interpreted in line with established international standards on due diligence, namely the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. We’ll bring you insights from these experiences and open the floor for participants to share their lessons and challenges to date.
Join us for an interactive conversation to navigate the many questions arising from the CSDDD:
- What are the main differences and common points between the CSDDD and international standards on due diligence?
- What are the most significant provisions of the law from a practical implementation perspective?
- What does environmental due diligence look like? How does the law distinguish between climate and other environmental impacts?
- What does full supply chain due diligence look like?
- What is a practical strategy for meaningful stakeholder engagement?
