Alison Berthet

Alison supports companies in embedding respect for human rights across their organizations and value chain. She brings a strong, collaborative spirit and expertise in developing and implementing strategies and governance, due diligence, and engagement mechanisms to effectively manage human rights risks.
Alison joined BSR from BT Group plc, a BSR member company, where she led the development of a new human rights strategy geared at ensuring a responsible approach to how the organization buys, sells, develops, and uses technology. Highlights included setting up a new steering group, engaging key internal stakeholders through innovative workshops, and integrating human rights risks in BT’s group risk management framework. Before that, Alison trained and practiced as a corporate lawyer at the global law firm Hogan Lovells, specializing in international arbitration and business and human rights disputes. Her experience included advising a European energy company and its executives against a potential criminal prosecution for complicit liability in war crimes committed by a state military.
Alison holds a LLM in Public International Law and a BSc in International Relations and History from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Alison is fluent in English and French.

Renata leads BSR’s Nordic practice, working with a diverse range of sectors and sustainability topics.
She helps companies transition towards more ambitious goals and practices in adapting to the continuously more and more demanding regulatory landscape and stakeholder expectations to create a Just and Sustainable World.
Renata brings over 20 years of experience in innovation and sustainability in global value chains. Prior to joining BSR, Renata worked in A.P. Møller - Mærsk, Coloplast, Danske Bank, and The Conference Board, helping companies improve their sustainability practices, strategic impact, ESG reporting, and human rights policies and practices. She has served on various boards, including Maersk, IKEA Industry, Organic Basics, and the Danish Initiative for Ethical Trade. She was a long-term member of the UN Global Compact Advisory Group on Supply Chain Sustainability and participated in the shaping of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Renata is a First Mover Fellow with the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society. She holds a professional degree in global shipping and logistics; a BSc in Philosophy and Rhetoric from the University of Copenhagen; a Post Graduate Diploma in Strategic Organisational Leadership from SAID Business School, University of Oxford; and a Diploma from the Executive Board Programme from INSEAD. She speaks English, Danish, Russian, and some French.

Diana leads BSR’s Supply Chain practice, working with companies to integrate forward-thinking sustainability strategies into the value chain. She focuses on helping companies manage their supplier engagement program to meet aggressive environmental and social targets.
Diana brings to BSR over a decade of sustainability experience, covering a wide array of issue areas such as single-use plastics reduction strategies, carbon neutrality scope 3 roadmaps, green procurement guidelines, labor and human rights policies, all the way through to reporting and disclosure. She has a background in economics and management consulting and has worked across the consumer, technology, financial services, energy, pharmaceutical, and nonprofit sectors.
A dual US-Swiss citizen, Diana holds a MBA in Environmental Management and Policy from The George Washington University School of Business and a BA in Economics from Bates College. Diana speaks Spanish and French.
