BSR is excited to invite you to a conversation with Towards Sustainable Mining (TSM) on October 6, 2022, at 9 a.m. PDT/Noon EDT/18:00 CEST. This webinar is intended for all companies along metals and minerals value chains, ranging from mining companies to end users and their investors.
We are pleased to have the opportunity to learn more about TSM—a global mining sustainability standard that has been helping companies manage, report on, and verify sustainability performance at the mine-site level since 2004.
Now being implemented by over 200 mining companies around the world, TSM sets rigorous standards for environmental and social risks like tailings management and Indigenous and community relationships. Implemented via national mining associations, TSM is overseen by a network of national multi-interest panels, including representatives from Indigenous groups, local communities, non-governmental organizations, and more.
This session will offer an overview of the TSM program, including perspectives from a company that implements TSM and members of Canada’s TSM Community of Interest Advisory Panel. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussion with the speakers.
