Integrating human rights risks into a company’s risk register can enable the company to identify and document human rights risks in their operations in line with emerging regulations. While risk registers can help companies measure human rights risks, they also present challenges due to their historical focus exclusively on risks to business.
We are pleased to invite BSR members to join a members-only discussion on how to ensure that risk registers effectively measure human rights risks. In this interactive session, BSR will briefly outline three approaches to integrating human rights into risks registers, and facilitate a discussion among members to identify and work through challenges and opportunities to these approaches, among others. We encourage participants to bring their own questions and challenges on this topic to the discussion.
