The Sustainability Governance Roundtable is designed to define and explore strategies for creating robust sustainability governance structures, processes, frameworks and controls.
Participants will:
- Develop a robust understanding of governance structures, systems and best practices in a trusted, peer company environment.
- Gain insights on common challenges and approaches from diverse companies facing similar issues.
- Identify workable approaches to new and emerging skillsets with others facing similar issues.
- Pinpoint norms or practices within or adjacent to governance processes that may be hindering achievement of corporate goals.
- Leverage tools and insights to test current the governance system, processes, and roles and responsibilities vis a vis a growing list of volatile sustainability issues.
- Contribute to a common understanding of what constitutes robust sustainability governance, as well as where there is need for further research, structures, tools or frameworks.
Each participating company is invited to nominate two representatives who are involved in or advising the sustainability governance process, for seven highly interactive discussions over a six to eight-month period. In order to maximize the benefits of the discussion, participation will be limited to eight to twelve companies.
BSR Members only.Opportunities range in cost, length of commitment, and scope of focus, depending on the goals of the group. Participation in these opportunities may not be included in your BSR membership, though typically MEOs may be applied.
