Ashley serves as a manager for BSR’s Inclusive Business Practice.

She drives partnerships and collaborative engagements with philanthropic organizations including foundations and nonprofits to harness business influence to achieve a more just and sustainable world, with a focus on advancing gender equity. She also supports businesses in building inclusive organizations and navigating emerging trends/flashpoints through direct engagement.

Previously, Ashley managed the Center for Business & Social Justice, driving corporate engagement on social justice issues with a focus on public policy engagement and influence, which has now been integrated into BSR’s Inclusive Business practice. She has also supported BSR’s industry teams in sustainability management, particularly in the food, beverage and agriculture sectors.

Prior to joining BSR, Ashley worked primarily in agriculture and distribution, food service management and hospitality, where she developed programs creating sustainable food systems and addressed food insecurity and basic needs access.

Ashley holds a M.P.S. in Sustainable Development and a B.S.  in Environmental Law and Policy from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in association with Syracuse University, along with a Certificate of Advanced Studies of Sustainable Enterprise from Syracuse University.
