Kia works with BSR member companies across industries in human rights.
Kia has studied and worked with human rights since 2012. Prior to joining BSR, Kia worked with the Institute for Human Rights and Business and the Danish Institute for Human Rights on business and human rights research and event planning across industries and companies. She has also worked in a variety of non-profit organizations, working with women’s rights and LGBTIQ+ rights and supporting cases going to the European Court of Human Rights.
Kia has a Master in Human Rights from UCL and a Bachelor in Human Rights from Malmö University. She speaks fluent Danish and English and is proficient in Swedish, Norwegian, and French.
